BERLING’s furniture stains are 2 component products, polyurethane based. This line includes primers, varnishes and lacquers.

Primers are transparent (Sealer) and white-opaque (Surfacer) with great coverage properties and easily sandable.

Varnishes are available in all finishes (mat, satin and high gloss). In addition, we offer a floor varnish with excellent spreading properties and a velvet-like finish.

Lastly, lacquers offer a satin and high gloss finish. They are available in white ad black as well as base colors, which can be colored due to BERLING’s tinting system.

DUR

Excellent quality two pack PU based transparent under- coat for interior wood surfaces. It has very high cover- age, is easily sanded, and serves as a very good over coating. Allow 45-75 minutes between  coatings without sanding.

DUROSAT

Excellent quality two pack PU based clear Varnish suitable for all interior wooden surfaces that have already been prepared with Berlings’ DUR.  It gives a nice velvet- like surface to the touch.

HIGH GLOSS

Excellent quality high gloss two pack PU Varnish for all interior wooden surfaces that have been pre-coated with Berling’s DUR A+B. It gives a “like mirror” surface.

SURFACER

White undercoating, PU based, with great coverage ability. Is easily sanded and serves as an excellent undercoating for acrylic and PU based lacquers. Very good stirring of part A is necessary before combining the two parts A&B.
